should i appeal cal? :/ :?

i am a transfer student with a broken heart :(

so basically i got into the following schools:
ucla
ucsd
uci
ucsb

rejected from:
cal

if i appeal, do i hold a chance?

i am going to include, along with my current transcript, a recommendation from the following people:
-my student government advisor who is the head of student development at my jc, holds a masters degree from columbia
-my persian literature professor who holds a trifecta from cal (bachelors, masters, phd)
-a current cal student that i knew in high school who got in there out of high school and now recently got accepted to the haas school of business

please share your thoughts! :) thanks!

Isn’t the point of appeal to highlight new and compelling evidence that was not included in the application? It may work, but you still have some great schools.

read what I posted here:

I think UCLA is a great school- that’s what I’ve heard anyways.
But, if you are obsessed to Cal- go ahead and appeal, before you regret going to another school without appealing

UCLA/Cal doesnt accept letters of recommendation for appeals.
