Should I apply EA?

I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not I should apply EA. I'd really like to apply EA to either Stanford or BC. Here are some general stats...

CR: 1/350
GPA: 3.91 / 4.62
Courses - Hardest available. I also took classes that were not offered at my school.
ECs: A LOT. Held a lot of leadership positions, generally successful. I have worked to help my family out.
Personal: Latina, Low Income

My only problem comes down to my ACT score. I re-tested in October, hoping the score is high enough. I don't have the results yet, meaning that I cannot send my new results. Here are my ... scores. Ugh.

E- 33
M - 21
R - 32
S - 21
Comp. - 27

Obviously, I'm better in English/Reading than Math/Science. Should I hold off on EA because of the scores? I feel like I have a really unique situation, and I would stand out in the applicant pool. Though, the scores make me nervous. Are there any other viable EA options for me?

probably EA BC.

why do you say that? I know my scores are a little out of range for BC, but do you think that I’ll be ok?

I don’t see any down side to applying EA, especially when you are an under-represented minority. You might even be able to get fee applications waived. If you do get denied or deferred, you’ll at least know early so you can have a plan B.

Because you have a great GPA/rank, URM status, and according to you lots of ECs…

Your score isn’t that low either… maybe for stanford, but I don’t think it’s that low for BC. Then again, I don’t know BC that well. Still, it’s worth a shot.

Okay. I think that I have a shot. I guess I’m just concerned because I’m pretty sure the range is a 28-32? And my math/science are low. Not like i’m going to be majoring in math/science. Any other viable EA options?
