Should I apply engineering?!

I know that I have good enough grades and scores to get into berkeley. I've gotten all A's except for history one year (dumb mistakes) and then calculus my junior year. I loved calc so much and I know it's not because the math was hard (I got a 5 on the ap test) I just slacked off and got a b- first semester and a b+ second semester.

I'm really leaning toward bioengineering but I feel like my calc grades would reflect poorly on me especially for the subject. Should I just apply something else and if I get accepted switch in? If so, what could I apply as?

Any advice would help, thanks!

They wont care about your 1 history grade, I also got all A’s, but i’m not gonna lie, I had a D in Drama. They’ll just see I’m not a drama person, not everyone is an everything student.

Engineering opens up alot of opportunities! one of my friends who did engineering at UCL, now works at Citi! And these days, transferring is just as hard as applying straight.

Changing into engineering after entering as a freshman in some other division can be very difficult.
