Should I apply for Bates? Job prospects for graduates?

I'm guaranteed UCSB by ELC, and may be applying for Tufts, UCLA/SD/SB/B, Dartmouth (maybe ED), Haverford, Pomona, Brown, Cornell, Oberlin, University of Chicago (EA?), and Vassar. I need to trim my list a little, hence my question.

I like Bates for the friendly student body and its Outdoors Club, but I can't decide if I like it more than UCSB, which is in a beautiful location, but has way too many people. Since UCSB is a guarantee, it makes no sense for me to apply somewhere I like less than UCSB.

Which, in your opinion, has a better reputation and will probably land me a better job post-grad?

Do you think you’ll end up living on the East Coast?

If you want to go to grad or proffesional school you should pick Bates easily. Otherwise its up to which campus you like more.

I can definitely see myself at an East Coast college, but Lewiston, Maine, doesn’t do anything for me. Why would going to a LAC be beneficial if I’m aiming for grad school? I understand that the professors’ recommendations will be more personal, but wouldn’t a larger university have more opportunities for EC involvement?
