As a CS major, I’m not sure living in Galileo would do anything for me. I think that might be the only one available to a male CS major in the engineering school. Also, the idea of living with a bunch of sweaty engineers seems kinda bad 
The only Living Learning Communities that you cannot join are the ones specifically for females or Honors (unless you are in Honors). All of the others are options if you have any interest in their activities. Keep in mind that the LLCs are living-learning so they expect you to participate in the learning theme. If you aren’t interested in participating then it’s probably best to just go with a regular dorm.
