I am an OOS student from VA with a weighted GPA around 3.9. I took 6 AP classes my junior year and 1 sophomore year. I got a 1190 on my SAT (560 math and 630 english) and a 26 on my ACT. I am planning on majoring in either nursing or athletic training. I am going to retake the SAT and ACT before applying to other schools. Should I wait until then to apply to Bama? If I don’t wait what is the likelyhood of me getting in?
If I were you, I would wait until you take the tests again before applying, but just remember the deadlines for scholarships and applications come up fast. Your GPA is pretty high, so you should have a good chance of getting accepted. Good luck!
It’s OK to apply now and get your acceptance - just be sure to send in your ACT/SAT test retake scores and your application will be updated to reflect your hopefully higher scores and merit scholarship.
