Should I apply to CAS or Tandon as first choice school?

I like both schools equally, and I am not sure which is easier to get into. But lets say Tandon is easier to get into (just as an example- im not saying it really is easier), and I list that as my alternative school, and CAS as my first choice (harder school to get into-as an example).

If I get rejected from CAS, would I be at a disadvantage in applying for Tandon if i applied to that school as a second choice compared to the people who applied to Tandon as their first choice?

Or, are the chances to list T as my first choice and as my alternate equally as difficult?

also if it helps…I am going into business/maybe govt so if I applied to Tandon, I want to major in business and technology
if I apply to CAS, I would major in international relations or economics
