I am from the west coast.

3.2 GPA throughout high school

1610 on SATs

Over 300 Community Service Hours

National Honor Society

I have taken extra classes before school such as leadership and student government.

I have played basketball, football, track, and swim all my years in high school.

I am in good standing with all my teachers.

I know it would be a near miracle to get accepted but I am from a private school and my family is capable of paying full tuition without aid, I don't have bad grades but nothing to fancy, and I have been consistent with something between a 3.1 and 3.3 every semester of HS.

Should I even apply in 2012 or is it too much of a reach? Thank you.

Nooo stas are way to low save your application fee money

I am having a problem with a stranger over the internet killing your dream. Look up the information for this school and see what their middle 50% is and base your decision on that. Good luck!

Just try to get a higher sat score. That’s what is really hurting you right now. Otherwise you have really good ECs. Write great essays and see if you can get your sat score up. I was accepted with similar ECs and an 1820 sat 3.5 gpa w IB classes. But I was in the lower stats for pepperdine.

Robert93…Please apply. Your stats are not that bad. I had stats where I should have been accepted to some schools that I did not get into and some schools I should not have got into, I did. They base your acceptance at Pepperdine on more then stats. They take into consideration the essay and more. Please apply if you want to go. The worst that can happen is a no, the best is a yes. But if you don’t try, it is a no for sure!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

Honestly I say just do it. I personally applied with similar stats to yours and thought I had beastly letters of recommendation and essays, heck, I even went on an official visit for my sport. In the end I was rejected so GPA does matter VERY much despite what others say. You never know until you try, that is reason enough to apply. Good Luck!

It will be a reach unless you have a killer essay…

I think the essay is a SIGNIFICANT portion.
