Eventually I want to transfer into stern. What NYU school would give me the best chance for admission?

Bump…

it’s extremely hard to transfer from CAS or any other college at NYU into Stern. The acceptance rate of transferring into Stern is somewhere around 10% i think, so i wouldn’t count on it. Just apply to Stern from the very beginning

Your odds for Stern are very low so if you want NYU, apply to CAS. If you’re fine going elsewhere, roll the dice for Stern. In addition, NYU has lousy financial aid, so depending on how much your family can afford you need backups.
What are your safeties?

Could I take the SAT in january to get it up and get my chances up for Stern? @MYUOS1634…Or could I apply to CAS and transfer into Stern Later?
My safeties are George Mason and James Madison. Im also applying to Virginia Tech, UVA William and mary, Villanova, and UMiami

Bump…

Check out the deadlines but I think the January SAT is too late. I would say a 2200+ SAT considering the rest of your application for Stern - you don’t have stellar business EC’s and 3.35 is very, very low for them.
If you apply to CAS, expect to stay there. Very, very few people can go from CAS to Stern and it typically means they did something pretty out of the ordinary.
