Hi guys, I wasn't planning on applying to any super-reach schools but I was advised to consider doing it, especially if its a school I'm really interested in.

My stats aren't great, (obviously this is a far reach) and I want to know if it is even worth applying at all; like if I am so far out of the applicant pool that it would simply be illogical. Thanks!

GPA: 3.6, 4.91 weighted
SAT: 1930 (waiting on the results for the November test, but I don't think my score changed)
Rank: 18/220
I've taken at least one AP class every year since 9th grade. I will have taken 10 AP classes by the time high school is over. I've gotten 4's on World History, Psychology, and US History. I got a 5 on English Comp.
I am a member of three National Honor Societies and have earned a few school and state-wide accolades.
My essay is well written and is not a run-of-the-mill piece.
My rec's are just teeming with all the good things about me :)
I have plenty of EC'S including clubs, sports, and other activities, but I will highlight the things I think make me stand out.
- Class President; handled a variety of tasks, planned junior prom etc.
- Internship at a local non-profit; work 3 days a week unpaid
- YouthWorks Mission Trips, 2012 and 2013; including interacting with Somali refugee children, restoring childcare facilities, creating a community garden, entertaining and just chillin' with old folks, sorting sandals for a non-profit organization, cooking, cleaning...

I also plan on majoring in something Psychology/Social Work related, or something Linguistics related.

That's about it :O
