Should I be nervous that I haven't gotten a decision yet

hobei1 - No I missed 60 minutes this week. There was a recent article in last week's WSJ about UCONN's applications being up at least 10% this year thanks to the economy. The waitlist didn't surprise me at all since they have rolling admissions.

Well we were nervous when April 15th rolled around & still no decision (S was originally deferred.) So I (I know it’s a no-no, but he wouldn’t) called and was told that they were waiting on his 2nd semster grades still?! Well after thinking a few choice words about Son’s GCs, was put on hold while the secretary brought his stuff to a supervisor. Long story short, they called back the next day and said a decision has been made. Apparently they had his grades & he just fell through the cracks somewhere.
I now have a fat envelope on my kitchen counter waiting for S to get back from his Senior class trip sometime after midnight tonight. He wanted me to open it but I can’t, too nervous. He’s hoping for the main campus at this point, with its CAMS major, or bust! Hope to post good news tomorrow!!

Well, not so good, but at least he can finally move on…S got in a branch not the main campus. Wish he would consider it, but I don’t think that’s happening.
