Should I bother transferring now?

I think we’re just both screwed and blew off our 2nd chance =/.

Don’t lose hope I’m still trying to retain my hope for as long as I can. Keep your head up and I wish you luck.

I wish you luck too. Lol if we both get lucky and accepted into SFSU. I shall find you and congratulate you personally xD.

I just applied to CSU Sacramento and SFSU this morning. On the application, they only ask for one GPA–that of your CSU transferable coursework. So make sure you’re looking at the right GPA on your transcript. The campuses you mentioned for your major aren’t impacted.

The app doesn’t ask for specific grades/classes, except for the first 4 CSU areas (so, Eng 101/103, Communications, Math etc). The upside of that is they won’t see specific grades. The downside is they won’t see an upward trend or anything.

While yes, getting into a CSU used to be easier, its still not impossible. You have a good chance, and should definitely apply.

Thank you Natasha. Even though i’m a local and I have probably have a better chance of getting itno CSU Sacramento or Stanislaus. Both my parents and I want me out of the San Joaquin County and to go somewhere a little far from home. The bay area is my number 1 choice because once i’m there I’m guaranteed a place to stay and a job. So SFSU and SJSU are my top goals.

^ That makes perfect sense. I would encourage you to apply and see what happens. Let us know how it works out.

Just apply to all of them.

You’re going to end up spending more money at a community college if you don’t try now. Just do it.
