Should I bring a wireless router?

<p>People have been saying I should bring an Ethernet cable, implying wifi might not be available in my room. I am in Sunset Village. Should I just bring a wireless router?</p>

<p>I brought router and hub to UCLA for my freshman student’s move in to a summer program. But there are quite a few wireless connections, so I brought them back.</p>

<p>I think the front desks give out routers to check out for the year. There’s plenty of Wifi at UCLA though. The cable comes in handy if you want even faster internet (for downloading/etc)</p>

<p>The dorms in Sunset Village only have wifi in the lounges so if you want wireless in your room, bring a router.</p>
