Should I bring an extra TV?

The college Im going to has suit style dorms and Im bringing a TV for my room but I have an extra at my parents house that I was thinking of bringing to put in the living room in case one of my suit mates didn't have one and wanted to watch it. Should I bring the extra TV or wait to see who all is bring TVs for their rooms and if there is a need for a TV in the living room? The extra TV also has a place to insert headphones which I always thought was a great thing to have so I could stay up at night while my parents were sleeping. Also If we have a bunch of people over it would be easier than having so many people in a bed room or having to carry a TV out someones room.

Talk to your suitemates first, so no one brings two TVs for the living room. It’d be a very nice gesture if you brought a TV for everyone to use. Easy way to get a group of people to socialize and meet each other as well.

I don’t think I watched TV from my college years through my early - mid 20s. The next 10 years will likely have way more to offer for entertainment that you can imagine. Leave the thing at home … ;)

I’d wait and talk to your suitemates first. You definitely won’t need two in the living room. I didn’t bring one at all, and I was definitely fine. You might even end up not even wanting one in your room. They’re definitely not necessary if you have a laptop, and I’m sure you’ll have other things to do than watch TV all day.
