All the evaluations, as well as the SSR, have been sent in a single package. Yet, my MyMIT account only shows that the evaluations have been processed, not the secondary school report. Could it be lost in the realms of unscanned papers?

I'm thinking about calling MIT to ask them if I should resend it or wait till January 26th, but I don't want to bother them. Still, I am worried about this, as recompiling the file will require my head teacher and I to revalidate the school's profile, to officialize my transcripts, to reprint the translations and whatnot, and I*don't want to bother him again with this.

Chill. I know it’s hard, but chances are, it’s there. It just didn’t get scanned yet. It will get scanned. If it doesn’t until the 26th, you could shoot them an email.

It’s likely that it is safe and sound at MIT – the administrative staff open envelopes and separate documents by type, so it’s not unusual to send documents in a single envelope and have them be processed at different times.

There is no need to worry about missing documents at this time. When MIT is done processing all the mail, they will post a blog entry. At that point, if your report is still missing, you will be given the opportunity to re-send it via fax.

It is highly likely that your SSR is at MIT, waiting to be processed.

You’re fine. It happened to me. My SSR was processed a month after the processing of Evaluations A and B (they went in the same package). Maybe because the transcripts are international and have more attachments (translations)… Anyway, chilax ;)

^Nope. Translations have nothing to do with it. Evaluation B (which was translated) was processed first. Then Eval. A and the SSR (both of which were originally in English and therefore had no translations attached) were processed 4 days later. It’s pretty random as far as I can tell. But if they were in the same package, MIT has them. They’ll be processed in a few days as long as they don’t get lost in the huge packets of mail they have over there (Doubt that’d happen.)

The Admissions office is still processing buckets of mail. If it isn’t processed by the end of January, give them a call, but otherwise, it is probably still in the midst of all other papers.
