should I cancel my SAT scores? Please help.

Ok guys so over these three days I left that Saturday morning feeling like crap. I've been extremely nervous over these days and I'm seriously considering canceling my scores. When I first showed up I felt ok. The essay wasn't too bad. After that, things started to go badly. I started sweating and got extremely nervous, even after studying for hours I felt really stupid and dumb. I forgot everything that i learned almost as if I've never seen this material. I did 9 out of 20 questions on my first section. After that i again started omitting 8 or more per section. Thankfully i calmed downed around section 5. I seriously omitted over 30 i believe and got some wrong. I'm extremely worried especially since I'm a senior and this is my first time taking it since i just moved from out of state and other stuff like that. I have ADD and also focus and memorization was very difficult. I will most likely get 490 on Math (most likely lower) around 400 - 520 on CR and 650 - 750 on writing. Please help my guys im dying here. I'm also most likely going to receive extra time

Forgot to add that I’m taking it again November 2nd.

i have a similar problem. i gave my SAT this oct and wrote an off topic essay… i did not read the text given in the box and just wrote an essay from what understood from the question…now i need to cancel my scores…is there any chance that i might recieve any grade for my essay?
and are you planning on taking a gap year? if yes u could go ahead and cancel the scores as you will have plenty of time preparing for the SATs and college applications.

Well, I know that the people who grade essays usually spend under 5 mins on each one. So if you have a decent essay they will most likely give you a decent score if you’re lucky. I’m also not planning on gaping I want to apply before December.

ya my essay is good, strong vocab, good examples and almost two pages-but definitely off topic. As for you, looking at your score predictions, i think its best you cancel your scores.however, not without considering how well prepared you are for the next SAT. i prepared real hard for a month this time, yet i screwed up ( i have a previous SAT score though). and since you are not taking a gap year, you must make sure that your November scores are great. plus there’s the college essay, supplements, recommendations…

Cancel the scores.
You still have December and November. :)

I screwed my essay. I was totally off-topic.
But I will wait and see.

Definitely retaking in December!
