I got all A’s in their classes, yet I didn’t get the AP exam scores that I wanted. I got mostly 4’s when they expected that I get all 5’s. I took 13 AP exams in total, but there have been others who have taken around 22 AP exams and got all 5’s. Could it have been the teachers’ faults for my failings? If I had self-studied all of them, I would probably have a much higher chance at getting all 5’s. I felt like the most hated student ever from that high school and district. I didn’t even check my senior AP scores because I fear that I would possibly have gotten a failing grade in one of the exams. I’m not using them for college credit, but I still feel disappointed. Even before I took my first AP exam, one of my AP teachers treated me like utter crap.
They don’t care. Think about doing well now and in the future, and don’t worry about teachers from the past.
wait, you are a freshman at UCLA and you are STILL obsessing about your AP scores?? from almost a year ago???
As others have said on your other thread- go get professional help.asap.
@Depression314 You got a lot of good advice in your other thread. Seek the help that you need.
Waaaah…I got (essentially) B’s in 13 college level (AP) courses in high school. Who would have an issue with that?
Why wouldn’t you use them for college credit?
May I suggest that you talk to someone about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder if you keep thinking about this a year later?
I am starting to get over it. I can do a lot better in college by improving my study habits. It was all my fault.
Honestly… high school teachers have contact with hundreds of kids a day. They all but stopped thinking about you right after they corrected your final exam. I don’t know if teachers even get kids AP scores or just see a range or average score. Submit your scores to your college for possible credit or exemptions and move on.
In your other thread you mentioned that you’re not doing well academically and you might need mental health assistance. Please go speak to a counselor.
Honestly you shouldn’t be starting to get over it nearly a year later. You should be way past that. Teachers are fully aware that not every student gets 5s. Please look for help.
In your other thread you were complaining about losing a math competition in high school. You’re a college freshman who seems to be struggling with more than just low grades. Please go to your school’s counseling office today and talk to someone.
