Should I change my major?

I was admitted to the University of California: Santa Barbara, and I was originally very confident in my choice of major (psychology). Now I’m not so sure that I will be able to find a good job after getting my B.A./B.S., especially because I wanted to minor or double major in nutritional studies to strengthen my chances of getting hired quickly only to find out that UCSB has no minors or majors having to do with nutrition. I don’t know of anything else I would like to do and I’m kind of freaking out because if I want to switch majors, I have to request to do so soon.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Are you an incoming freshman or a sophomore. If you are cominted to nutrition and you are an incoming freshman, see if you can work some magic and get into a school with that major and switch. If you are a sophomore, then I would suggest just relaxing, continuing on the psych track for a semester and transferring second semester sophomore year.
