Okay, so essentially, I was able to look at my Midyear transcript through one of the old “portal hacks” that was surging around a2c and here a few weeks ago. I won’t go into detail about said hack (mods, please don’t delete this), but I did find out that my Midyear transcript suggested that my grades were higher than they actually were. I received a B- in AP Calculus during my first semester which was not reflected on the midyear transcript I found through the portal hack (said I got an A). I haven’t received any communication about this from my counselor and the transcript was found several weeks after he submitted it so I highly doubt it was corrected. My question is whether I’ll get rescinded for this discrepancy.
Did your counselor submit the midyear transcript directly to the colleges? If so, it’s their mistake and doubtful that you’d get rescinded - unless the B- is indicative of a trend down and your final grade is below a C. But, I would reach out to your counselor and get a copy of what was sent so that you can verify that the hack was reflective of the truth. If he/she sent an incorrect transcript, they can send a corrected one with a note and all should be fine.
Are you sure that perhaps you miscalculated your grade? The schools use a formula to determine midyear grades. Perhaps you received an A with the formula your school used.
