<p>Does the school you are applying to ask for it? If not there is no point in doing it. If they do ask for it you have to do it if you want school aid.</p>

<p>DOn't Submit CSS unless the college you're applying to specifically asks for it. You'll be wasting your money if you submit the CSS if the school doesn't want it.</p>
<p>If you checked the "yes" box for financial aid, the school will generally tell you during the admission process if they want it or not (usually as a follow up email or letter after you submit your app).</p>
<p>Also, Collegeboard.com has a list of the schools that want the CSS/Profile. If your school is NOT on this list, then they don't need it:</p>
