<p>Here is the prompt for first UC personal statement essay. </p>

<p>"Describe the world you come from - for example, your family, community or school - and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations." </p>

<p>The essay I wrote describes how my balancing my parents culture and American culture is like walking on the tightrope. And how I've been able to find balance and the motivation to push forward from my experiences. </p>

<p>Do you think that is an acceptable interpretation?</p>

<p>Its a good topic. I’m working on something similar with my common app essay. Make sure to be careful on how you word things so you dont sound offensive to certain countries.</p>
