Should I drop out?

I’m currently a junior, taking APs and yaddah yaddah yaddah, but my “easiest” class is the one I’m doing the worst in which is German 3. The first making period i did decent in all my other class my lowest grade was an a- but in german I got a 80.00 %. To put it in some perspective i have a 4.7 w gpa without including german and like a 4.02 or something witt it included in teh calculation. ALOT of teh colleges I want to apply to “recommend” or “strongly recommend” 3 years but have a requirement of only two. would it be better for me to drop out now and get finish with a 4.7 maybe a 4.8 or stay in german and finish with a 4.1 at best. I’m not sure what my uw gpa is cause they dont report it but its pretty crappy, at my school though kids are getting into HYPS with 4.2s weighted.

p.s. my gpas in freshman and sophomore year were really bad so i kind of need my gpa this year to offset that a bit.

Thanks for any advice you guys might have

You need to finish it. One small ray of hope, my kids’ experience was that colleges seem to be a bit more forgiving of foreign language grade hiccups than other academic subjects.

Dropping out should never be an option. I mean, you should grab every chance you can get and take every ounce of hope. We all know how hard it is to admit ourselves into college so it’s best to work hard on it.
