Should i drop this college class?

the reason i want to drop is because the class is on saturdays, and our football games are on saturdays.(i know, bad excuse, but i just don't want to look back and say that i missed out on my school's first yr with a football team). the class is from 12:15-3:00pm, all the home football games are at 1:00pm.

bad thing is that this course is a pre-requisite. and this is the only time this class is offered. should i drop this course and take it during off season in spring 2012?

i wouldn’t

I would take it this year to get it over with, because then you have 3 years to enjoy watching your school’s team.

Just take the damn class. Football can wait, after all its just a game.

I wouldn’t drop, if I were you.

thats not necessarily a good reason to drop a class, especially if its a pre req. and no one’s really going to care if you were or weren’t at the football games at all your first year (unless its one of those kind of schools where its a big social thing). but you’ll have plenty of time to go to the football games in your other years.

Depends. How big of a deal are football games at your school? If they’re lame, take the class, but if not, I wouldn’t want to have to miss all of them. I’d never schedule a class during a Badger game (although they’d never have them). It’s just such an amazing time even if you don’t like football.

Yeah are we talking Big Ten here or just Big East lol

I wouldn’t drop the class. You’ll be in college for four years, and you have the other three to go to football games.

Remember why you’re in college: for class or for football?

Man, I wish we had a football team

Don’t drop it. If this is a pre-requisite this might seriously come back to haunt you later on. If you are really considering dropping the course talk it over with your advisor to see how it will effect you in the future.
