should i drop?

i just made jv lacrosse again as a junior which is sooo frustrating because i was captain of JV last year.... my town is so competitive
so anyway im considering quitting lacrosse and instead running track... would it look bad to colleges if i dropped lacrosse after playing frosh and soph year and then switching to track?? or is that not a big deal at all?

i know i can get a varsity letter in track (i did during winter track), but at the same time lax coaches say theres still a chance to be pulled up but idk im not too sure what to do--- im not like planning to play in college or anything

Don't play a sport because your worried about college admissions, play what you want to play.

yeah you have a good point, but the thing is i'm not playing these sports because im worried about college admissions... im an athlete (varsity vball, vars indoor track, lax) and i love what i do, otherwise i wouldn't be spending so much time with it

i mean i just dont know what to do, at this point im willing to do either...
i just want opinions as to what others would do in this situation, would you try to be consistent with your extracurriculars? (cause don't colleges like that kind of devotion??) or would you go for the varsity letter?

I don't think that it matters, unless you are a recruited athlete. So do whichever you like better.

Which one do you love more? Do that. Never let "what colleges like" decide your life for you.

yeah im pretty sure im just worried about nothing.. tryouts/school/everything has gotten me pretty stressed this past like week haha and im just like frustrated about this
i think what im going to end up doing is seeing how lax goes for like a week or so (theres a new coach this year, last year was kind of a waste of my time... fun but no improvement whatsoever) and then ill make my decision
