<p>i realize i have very low stats/ec's for princeton, but still, do i stand a chance?</p>

4.5 UC weighted ( i know they dont use that scale, but i'm putting it in here)
IB Diploma Candidate
SAT: 2150 (700W, 710V, 740M) thats highest combined
ACT: 32 (32S, 32R, 32E, 33M, 30E/W)
SAT 2's: will take in OCt. math2c, bio(m), lit
AP: calc AB - 3 eng- 3 (should i withhold these?)</p>
<p>EC: jv tennis (9,10,11),
classical indian dancing (since 3rd grade, graduating this year)
piano (7 years, no awards nor do i take classes any more, i just play because i like it)
hospital volunteer- since 9th grade, 150+ hours
member: mock trial, model UN, NHS, key club, CSF
also, i write for the community newspaper (get paid)</p>

<p>AP scores don't matter that much, and since you've only taken 2, I assume that your school isn't big on them. I think you can go ahead and include them on your app, but it doesn't matter much either way. </p>
<p>I know a kid who was accepted to Stanford and Wash U (with a full ride merit scholarship) who had comparable statistics. If Princeton is the school you really want to go to, then don't let anything stop you from applying. Just be sure that you let Princeton know how much you want to go.</p>
<p>your indian dancing may be a hook. your newspaper work may be one too. So yes, if you think you would love to go to Princeton, you should apply.</p>
exactly!! also dont apply just for the sake of applying, work on your essays, show it in your essays that you were really passionate about what you are doing (e.g. indian dancing)..otherwise your stats are ok...just work hard and get good sat 2s :)</p>

<p>Thats not a hook. Ive seen way too many people (Indians) who had indian dancing on their app.</p>
