Should I even consider applying to Georgetown?

My school doesn't give out my GPA in the 4.0 scale until senior year so I don't know my chances in relation to the average at Gerogetown. Freshman year I got all A's and one B, sophomore year I did terribly and got high B's I'm a junior now and am getting all A's and taking all IB classes.

Freshman and Sophomore Years: All MYP classes (equivalent to honors pre-AP etc.)
Junior Year: all DP IB classes (equivalent to AP)

I do plenty of volunteer service in my community (300+ hours) as a coach for the NAtional Hispanic Institute (training freshmen in debate)
I have played tennis for four year (1 JV, 3 varsity)
Debate (Lincoln Douglas debate and extemporaneous speaking) 3 years
Newspaper 2 years
Yearbook 2 years
Orchestra 2 years
French and Spanish language 4 years

Student council secretary- 2 years

My projected SAT score is 2100

Will my SAT and EC make up for my lagging GPA in comparison to the average for Georgetown? The school I attend has one of the highest (99%) IB passing rates in the world so the classes are a lot more difficult. Any opinions?

It’s way too early to give an opinion, especially based on the limited information available now. You’ll have a better sense when you actually have test scores and your final junior year grades. If forced to give an answer now, I’d say your chances were only fair.

I’m not quite sure what your looking for. NO you shouldn’t apply? Apply if you want. Who cares if people on this site tell you not to.
