Hey guys Ive been prepping extensively for the SAT mainly and Ive been taking practice tests and studying vocab for the SAT so i was wondering if this should help me with the ACT ? I'm thinking about taking an ACT practice test "cold" to see how i do. Ive done mainly the questions on the ACT website and i haven't missed much (maybe 1-2 in each section)

Vocab- basically no use on ACT- English uses basically middle school level passages, and reading is just speed and understanding it, not vocab fill in the blanks. If I were you, download the booklet from the website to practice just 1 complete test and see if your time is good enough for the ACT. If it is good, great, if it's not- I would prepare a "little" more.

yea i agree with the above post the tricky part about the act is the time constraints...your CR should be fine if u've been practicing for the SAT i've never got over a 600 on the CR on the sat and by just going over act practice test for 3-4 months i did MUCH better comparatively
