Should I even submit my SAT score?

ACT: 34 Composite

36 Math
33 English
32 Reading
33 Science
Writing subscore: 9

SAT: 2110

680 CR
750 Math
680 Writing

I am confident I could retake the SAT and get an 800 on the math, but I'm fairly sure my CR/Writing scores will stay around 700.

So should I even submit my SAT score?

or if I retook the SAT and got 700CR/800Math/700 writing, would it even be worth to submit at that point?

Thank you, any comments are appreciated.

weird. I got the exact scores, and i decided to just send in both. Have you taken any subject tests, because if you can get a 800 on math II, I'm guessing that would look good instead of having to retake the entire SAT. Where are you applying?

hmm well i have found people generally do better on ACT than the SAT.. 34 is a good score. If you can get your SAT to 2200 then submit SAT .. if not go with the ACT. However, rumours are that colleges prefer the SAT .. not sure if there is truth to that.

Yeah I'm taking Math II and physics in october. That make's sense. I'm applying to UT Engineering/Business, Berkeley, Duke, Rice and a few others. UT Liberal Arts is safety since I get in automatically (Texas resident top 10%).

Yeah I would go ahead and take your subject tests and wait until after you see your scores to decide. The only reason I sent in my 2110 was because I rocked the subject tests. On a side note I got a 1840 on my first SAT which really sucked so hoping they like seeing improvement

since you are applying to eng programs, you need Subject Tests scores so your SAT I will go along for the ride (assuming you are a rising senior).

bluebayou, good point. I guess they will be submitted since the majority of the schools I'm applying to require SAT II. So if I submit my SAT II, they see my SAT I regardless.
