Should I even think of IVY League schools?

<p>I am a Junior (female) coming from a highly selective college preparatory school with a very rigorous curriculum. </p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.76 or 3.7 ( I have 6 B's so far)
Rank: School doesn't rank,but I'm in a very competitive class of students. However, I am in the top 5% taking a rigorous coursework. I am in taking the Junior Year Discrete math and Linear Algebra.
AP: Sophomore year : AP Chemistry, AP European History, AP BC Calculus,
Junior Year: AP Biology, AP Psychology, AP US History
Senior year I intend to take AP Statistics, AP Government, AP English, AP Spanish, AP
environment
In Summary : I would take 11 AP's unless I self study for AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics.</p>

SAT Subject test: Chemistry 800, Math 800
ACT: 32
PSAT – 230/240 (Junior year); 229/240 (Sophomore year)
AP's taken Sophomore year: Chemistry-5; Calculus-5 and AP European History - 4
Plan to take AP Biology, AP US History, AP Psychology
Plan to take AP English, AP Spanish, AP US Government, AP Environment, AP Micro Economics, AP Macro Economics</p>

<p>Extra Curricular:
Although I am a Junior, I will list the activies as being continued to Senior Year (which they will be).</p>

<p>Science Research (9-12) - Worked under university professors at school on a research projects all years of high school. Entered various competitions every grade from 9th to 12th. Won regional science competition (JSHS) and was selected to present at National level. Siemens semifinalist in my junior year. Won outstanding 4th place (Freshman and Sophomore year) in a local science fair, (ISEF). </p>

<p>Science Olympiad: Regional Winner Sophomore (4th Place Individual, 10th Place State Team) and Junior Year (3rd place Individual)</p>

<p>Physics Competition (An team event): Sophomore year - 4th Place Team Regionally, 14th place Team Nationally in Division
Junior Year - 1st place Team Regionally</p>

<p>Math competitions - Ranked in the Top 100 in a state math competition that is highly recognized and competitive all years.
High AMC scores which helped to qualify for AIME for all high school years.
1st Place Team Nationally in American Scholastic Mathematics Association
1st Place Team in Michigan Math League </p>

<p>National Federation of Music Clubs – Gold Cup with Superior Rating, 9th Consecutive Year (Piano)
3rd Place in Piano Test List Solo at American Guild of Music</p>

<p>Leadership:
Founder and President of my school Business Club (had to contact a lot of people and school authorities to get this off the ground)
Selected Representative on my local City Youth Council all high school years (9th to 12th)</p>

<p>Volunteering: School Tutor, 3 weeks during the summer of my sophomore year summer I helped at a Senior home for 2 hours per day, City Public library etc.</p>

<p>Any advice of how I need to pursue further.</p>

<p>your gpa isn’t good your sat/act is decent your ec’s are pretty solid</p>

<p>One of the Ivys is bound to accept you. However, if I were you, I’d be using those stats to rake in serious scholarship dough at sub-Ivy schools.</p>
