I want to become a health administrator and particularly lead the department of nursing. Would it be better to get a joint Masters of Business Administration/Masters of Nursing degree or just a Masters of health administration degree?? And would it be too difficult to minor in a foreign language such as Spanish as well?

If you are specifically interested in managing nursing, then I would go the MBA/MSN route. The Master in health adm is good for running any type of health operation but is broader, not as nursing focused and does not have as much of the money/finance focus. Also, if you ever thought you wanted to teach in nursing school, you need an MSN, a MHA will not qualify you.

Don’t know if adding the spanish minor would be too much, depends on the program.
