So, I got my AP Lit score today and was both surprised and disappointed to find I had received a 3. Not only did I feel fairly confident about my test, but I earned a very high A in the class, always got at least a 7 on all my essays, and at least 60% of the MC Q's right. I have always been an English person, I got a 5 on AP Lang last year and a 36 on my English ACT, so I feel like a mistake could have been made. Is it worthwhile for me to get it rescored?

You should definitely get it rescored especially if you are an English person! You never know they could have made a mistake.

It’s up to you if you want to spend the money. Typically only if you get a 1 or 2 and you really felt like you got a 5 do you use a rescore, but a 3 is a passing grade and I don’t think anything major went wrong. If you do end up getting a rescore, don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t change.

I think I may then! Even if it doesn’t change it will spare my peace of mind. And although it is passing, my university only accepts a 4 or 5 for credit :(
