I need to choose my colleges soon and I was wondering... I want to attend a 2-year in California so I can go forth with the TAP program and transfer to UCSD or another UC school. If I do this, I'll have to rent an apartment outside of campus (since they don't have dorming) and that'll impact my social life quite a bit for two years. However, I have another choice to attend SUNY Delhi and dorm there, join a sorority (hopefully heh) plus a bunch of other stuff. Experience "college life" per se. I'm guessing it'll be harder for me to transfer to a UC though...

Is social life a big deal in college? I'm so confused as to what I should do.

Social life is a big deal for me but everyone is different. I went wild my first two years now I’m buckling down but still have my crazy moments. College is the only time where you can literally do nothing but drink and **** as many girls (or guys if thats your preference) every week while preparing for the real world. The real world sucks after college.

I don’t want to miss out on anything but I feel like there will be more opportunity if I head to the west coast.

You can have a social life without ridiculous, pointless parties. You can even have a social life without alcohol. And you don’t have to live on campus to make friends. Pretty cool, huh?
