Should i Go for TAP?

i am gonna go for electrical engg in UCLA by transferring so well
will doing TAP help me or not?

you realize that you're asking if a 'Transfer Agreement Program' will help ucla AGREE with your application for TRANSFER.

well it says TAP is for letter of sciences... but i am doin engineering

no, TAP will not help any anyone trying to get into the school of engineering.......... only for majors in the College of L&S..... itll could help if your alternative major is in the L&S and you dont get into EE

College of Letters and Science and the Samueli School of Engineering are completely different.........

so i shouldnt do TAP right?

btw any is there any other program other than IGETC which can help me gettin into UCLA

if you're really intent on getting into UCLA and dont mind taking up an alternative major in L&S, i dont see why you shouldnt..... TAP is the only major program that helps you get into UCLA

oh, sorry for the sarcasm.
just get A's and lead clubs + summer internships, and a few hours of community service here and there.
that's your golden ticket.

but then i wont be able to get into engineering ?

what?? just follow pink's advice posted above... theres no program that engineers can take to increase their chances of getting in. solid GPA is about all that admissions officers will look at, unless you did some crazy junk like find a cure to AIDS or something along those lines.... you'll probably have your hands full on school anyways. going for TAP on top of that will only get in the way

oh, and take honors courses whenever possible.

is UCLA your only choice? or are you interested in Cal as well?

no cal for me.... :-)
