Hi, I am very interested in Geneseo for several reasons including its size, campus, location etc. I am interested in majoring in business (i’m particularly interested marketing) or communications. While i know Geneseo is primarily known for its departments in the science field, would it be worth it to go there for either of these majors? Thank you
My daughter majored in business at Geneseo and was very happy there and accepted a very good job offer before graduation. However, business majors should get internships during the school year. Geneseo is VERY rural. If you have a car and are willing to drive to Rochester that should work for you. Otherwise a school in a major city with good public transportation would be much better for gaining practical business experience.
