I got a 33 on the ACT
34 Eng 34 Math 33 Reading 32 Science
but I have yet to make a respectable score in one sitting on the SAT
710 CR 690 Math 640 Writing
should I just not send in my SAT score and hope they don't see it on my transcript?

Your ACT is the equivalent of a 1470 math & verbal

whle your math and CR is 1400

so your answer is?? im just thinking about the fact that some colleges favor the SAT over the ACT

I don't know if colleges favor the SAT, it's just more common in many areas.

Dartmouth will mix and match SAT scores from different sittings.....

Ask your counselor to take your SAT off your transcript.

Dartmouth seems like a school to want SATIIs and if they do not replace ACT with SATIIs, then they are going to see your SAT score anyway. If you took the ACT after the SAT, it may be the exact same thing as retaking the SAT and scoring higher (which lots of people do).

It does not matter whether you take the SAT or the ACT (they will take your highest score but will not mix composite scores of students who take the ACT multiple times), you will still have to submit (2) SAT II subject tests.

ok, so my less than spectacular SAT scores won't hurt me? or will they?

there are plenty of people who get in with their ACT scores. Send them both and let the process play it self out

you have no choice. sat 1s go with the 2s.

yes above poster is right. You did not take it with writing (or did you? I didn't see a score for it. I took a cursory glance though because I have to go.).

i took the writing just didnt put the score, i got a 9 on the essay

hmmm...interesting... chaudoinker...Do I know you? naw...

I think you should buy College Board a package of tea. Or just submit your AP Calculus 9 Weeks test instead of SAT I... oh wait, you can't!!!

Ask your guidance counselor about any flagship state schools that might have slipped your mind. I think there's a state school in Chattanoxville? or is taht Knoxanooga? Or perhaps in the Southwest area of your state? Community college is always an option.

Marioooonn Biiiirggggge!!!

haha thanks for the advice aaron

btw, just got my last test scores back --- 1490 (M/V) BYAAAH!
