So today was my first day of school and I'm a senior. I am taking AP Lang/Comp, AP Calc., AP US History (wouldn't fit in my schedule junior year), AP Physics, and Honors Economics (required class). I've been thinking since the day I selected my courses and throughout summer whether or not I should keep AP Physics. If I drop it, that would mean I would be taking no science classes this year as the lower level ones would not fit in my schedule. I took Honors Physical Science Freshman year, doubled up on Honors Bio. and Honors Chem. Sophomore year, and AP Chem. Junior year. I received an A for all the courses.

I know colleges usually want 4 years of science, but I was wondering if they want 4 CREDITS (like I have) or 4 full years. I'm not really interested in going into a science field in college, but I am aware of the importance of physics and how good it would look on applications.

Would dropping AP Physics and not taking any science class at all my Senior year look bad on college admissions, or would my history of success in 4 other difficult science courses cancel it out?
