Should I keep my job?

I'm a senior in highschool going to MCPHS for PharmD, and I've had a job for about 1 year and 2 months, and it's starting to bother me a LOT. I was "promoted" about 4 months in to become a front end manager(without a raise, lol). Basically, I supervise the registers and baggers and have to deal with their problems and such. The problem is the amount of responsibility I have to undertake. I have so much more responsibility for FIFTY CENTS above minimum wage.
For example, if a cashier has a conflict with a customer, I have to go over and take the flack. Sometimes I'll even have to deal with a large customer volume when my boss didn't schedule enough people. Not to mention the fact that I have to work from 3PM-9PM every friday after school, plus another 10-15 hours between saturday and sunday. Even thinking about work stresses me out like crazy, and it's driving me to consider quitting.

The problem arises when I try to tell my parents. They say its important for me to save up money to pay for college, but I've already saved up about $5,000, and I don't feel like being this stressed/anxious about a high school job is okay. They get ridiculously upset when I bring up the idea. Is it worth keeping this job?

Is finding another (less stressful) job possible?

Probably, thought not for long since 'll be heading to college.

You should try to find another job–it’s NOT worth the stress for 50 cents above minimum wage. Your happiness is #1. If you really need the money, then seek other employment. If it doesn’t really make a difference, then enjoy the rest of your year without that added burden.

I think I might just leave it. But for some reason the idea of not having a job is a little scary, even though i’m not dependent on the money.
