Should I keep SAT score for 8th ?

Took SAT for CTY purpose. Awarded High Honors. So I assume I did fairly good for my age.
I plan to improve a lot while in High School.
Should I keep this score? They are going to wipe out the young age SAT in August and must write a letter if I want to keep it. Does college look at those and see the improvement over time?

Total Score 1,210
Evidence-Based Reading & Writing 640
Math 570

We kept our all 3 daughter’s scores of low 1500s in 7th grade

I don’t think you should keep it. I did the same thing for CTY, and I’m not going to send them to colleges, the reason being that you took those in 7th grade, so I mean, it’s a little obvious that you weren’t as advanced as a student than you will be in late high school. Colleges look for improvement, but I believe it’s mostly in the high school years, and improvement in your grades is more important.

You will do so much better in high school. No need to keep it.

No. many colleges won’t consider standardized test scores from middle school anyway. It’s a great score for an 8th grader, but not for a high schooler who is aiming high.

And many colleges will. However, as you said:

So I would not keep it.

Maybe keep it. When my daughter applied to dual enroll in 10th grade, we were able to send her 8th grade ACT for placement. Other kids needed to take an ACT or SAT at that point.
