Should I mention an award from 6th grade?

In 6th grade I was the Junior Individual Global Issues Problem Solving champion at the Future Problem Solving International Conference. I know it's from 6th grade, but the win seems big enough that I should mention it. I also took 10th on a team in 9th grade, so it does connect to high school.

NO

I say No, also. It can only point to a shortage of meaningful activities and awards in high school.

Unless it’s an award for curing cancer or solving world hunger, reaching back to elementary school looks a lot desperate.
