Should I mention my AMC scores?

I took the AMC 10 and 12 without even know what they were. Got ~84 in both. I know that's nothing however both times were the highest in my school.

Thanks for any response!

Many school don’t ask it, and if your scores aren’t higher enough to gain any acknowledgement-like Honors team or medal, it’s not really worth it…although it might show that you have interest in math.

If you are applying to MIT, there is a section that asks if you have taken and AMC or higher math competitions. Put the scores in there. It won’t give you much merit since there are many MIT applicants who compete in AMC AND get medal, and move on to higher competitions like AIME, USAMO.

Why not list it? At least if you are pursuing math or engineering.

My son will list his AMC scores (if we can dig them up). I know he has scored the highest in his school in the past. Also NLE scores (Latin).
