Should I notify colleges?

So my second semester just started and I got my new schedule. My AP gov class “changed” to economics honors on my transcript, even though it’s the same class/teacher, we just need .5 of an economics credit to graduate. My school does it like this for us that take AP gov. We are still going to do AP gov stuff mostly and nothing has really changed. I was not aware of this when I applied to colleges, so I put that I am taking AP gov both semesters. Should I notify colleges?

You don’t need to. If colleges have any questions on course designation, they will usually communicate with your high school. You can always send out a quick email to admissions with your ID number if it makes you feel better. Then, if it’s worthwhile taking note of, colleges will already have the explanation.

I don’t think it would hurt to notify colleges. Or I would at least notify the college you plan to attend prior to them getting the final transcript and seeing there is a discrepancy.
