should i put AMC/AIME on the app?

I read another thread that says that AIME score of 7+ will help on the app, but I myself am not quite sure. I don’t wish to seem conceited on the application, and truthfully, I don’t see an AIME of 7 as much of an accomplishment, but I’d love to get some other opinions…

<p>Caltech and MIT ask you for those scores if you have them. BTW, a score of 7 on the AIME is quite good. Look up the stats on that test, the average is something like a 2.</p>

<p>Yes, put good AIME scores on your app. If you DIDN'T do well on AIME and your schools don't ask specifically, just put "AIME qualifier".</p>

<p>When the national average on the AIME is 2, then a 7 is very good. A friend of mine this past year got a 10.</p>
