I read another thread that says that AIME score of 7+ will help on the app, but I myself am not quite sure. I don't wish to seem conceited on the application, and truthfully, I don't see an AIME of 7 as much of an accomplishment, but I'd love to get some other opinions...

An application is where you brag about how good you are. I never got why they made it seem like you're supposed to be modest. If you were modest, you'd tell them you honestly weren't all that smart.

Its like when you write an essay about how smart you are, but try to make sure that the reader comes to that conclusion rather than just telling him you're brilliant.

This is why I hate apps.

Anyway, I would put in anything that may help (and this could).

an AIME of 7 is a huge accomplishment, my friend is a USAMO member and he always gets about 10 or 11. I myself looked at the first problem on the AIME and said "I don't even know what the **** concentric means!" and proceeded to work on an English essay.

Haha. I didn't even make AIME. Right after the test I compared answers with a few friends and it turns out I got 11 right and 1 wrong on AMC-12, throwing me just below the cutoff.

I didn't make the AIME either. a 7 is a great great score. O__O
