Should I put in my art portfolio as a supplement? CS major

Hi, I’m planning to major in Computer Science, but I noticed that on some of my applications, there’s a section for supplementary work like an art portfolio. I’m not sure if having an art portfolio will boost my application since I’m applying for CS, but is it worth a shot?

I love art and I want the person viewing my application to be aware that despite going into a field that’s science and math-based, I still cherish the arts. However, I’m also aware that a lot of people tend to shun the arts (i.e- my classmates, coworkers, etc.), so I’m worried that it might hurt my app.

An art supplement could only be helpful if it is of truly outstanding quality. If you are unsure perhaps ask an independent party (perhaps a HS art teacher) to look at your work. Other than that you should simply list any art classes/activities on your application.
