Thank you to everyone who gave me honest and genuine advice. I have decided that I will let it go. I have not, and will not be contacting any of her universities. Her mistakes really are none of my business and when it comes down to it underage drinking is a minor crime. I know many classmates who engage in this and ultimately the only difference is that she got caught while they did not.
Looking back on it, I realize that I was mixing some of the negative impressions I have of this girl into my desire to report her. This girl mistreated and excluded one of my close friends, which was one of the factors that contributed to her worsening mental health problems and ultimately her leaving school to receive in-patient treatment just this past week. It’s been a rough week and I acted rashly and emotionally in making this post. I suppose the reason I focused on the disciplinary dishonesty was that it was something that could be confirmed by school records, whereas saying that she bullied someone would be complete hearsay. In the end, I don’t want to be seen as a bully by anyone, revenge isn’t the right answer. Again, thank you to those commenters who attempted to see my perspective.
@mkms2020 impressive self-reflection. Well done you!
