I scheduled for the October SAT test which is 6 days away.
I am partially prepared. My procrastination with self studying is killing me! I didn’t finish the blue book that I originally thought I would by the end of September. Should I reschedule? I haven’t seriously touched the book since the end of August. This is really bad on my part. I’m wondering if I should wait another month and study my butt off for the November test. If I skip October I have 3 other tests left to try. I studied over the summer but I need to remember vocab and writing+CR again.
I thought I might “wing” it and treat it as a diagnostic. But I found out colleges still see all of your SAT scores…so why risk it?
What do you think? I’m 75% for rescheduling. My parents think I’m 100% prepared…but they have no idea!
sit yourself down seriously and take a full test when you have time to see if your score is where you want it to be.
If you have lots of test anxiety, then minus some points to make your score realistic. But when you take the test, make sure you’re being true to yourself and not surrounded my distractions.
I did this for the ACT test a week before I took it (but I did study throughout the summer) and I got almost exactly the same score as I did on the actual test (I don’t have that much test anxiety though)
if your scores are much worse than expected, I would reschedule
good luck!
Thank you. I was considering taking it also because of the QAS (its only offered oct, and january when I would take it, but it won’t be worth it in January.)
I’ve decided to not take it. I do have test anxiety, and I think I need a bit more preparation. Last minuete studying also scares me and I do worse on those occasions. Thanks for your input @chubii
