No. SAT’s are but one part of the package. Spend the time find-tuning your essays.
No, absolutely not. I would say spend time exploring your genuine interests outside of school. Admission is “holistic.” You have more than met the benchmark and there really isn’t a competitive advantage between an 800 and a 770. You’ve made it into the pool of possibility based on stats, but from there it is all about how you will contribute to the mix of the class. Admissions officers are looking for an interesting class.
