I scored very low on my Math IC this past June. I am now a junior and I plan to take the Math IIC next June. I've always been a very weak test taker and I did not study or prepare for the Math IC at all so there went my failure. But I'm determined to do very well on the Math IIC. But since my Math IC is so low (suffice it to say, a 590), do you think it is wise to retake it and hopefully raise the score? Or should I simply try and do VERY WELL on the Math IIC instead. Advise would be much appreciated!

It definitely depends how well you're talking on the MathIIC. KEep in mind missing 5 on IC might drop you to a 690, but missing 5 on the IIC gets you an 800. BUT the questions are MUCH harder.. if I were you, I would take a practice test for each version, and figure out which one is the better score. Also, the average for IIC is higher, so a 590 IC is better than a 590 IIC.

Just an additional question: do colleges see ALL the SAT tests you've taken so far or do they only see the scores you send to them?

bump...? bump.

unfortunately all ... all SATs + SAT IIs taken to date go on one report
