I have a 3.5/3.6 UM GPA and a 31 ACT at the moment so my chances are borderline at the moment (I'm instate too + legacy). I'm almost done with my UM apps and I can send them in by this week or next week so. But now I'm thinking of retaking ACT again for like a 33ish. But would UM see this before I get my decision. So basically do you think I should retake it or what?

since you are borderline it is probably better off that you apply now. instate and legacy should be enough to get you in with those stats.

i think the consensus is that you apply now, and specifiy on the app your next act test date. if they defer you, then you have that new act on file next time they look at your app, so they will reconsider at that time.

You should probably work on identifying redundancies, then retake your ACT. I'm sure it'll shoot up a few points.

Sorry, that was mean. But it was just too easy.

It's more important to apply early. Then retake and send your new scores.
