Should I retake my SATII's?

Hello, I am applying for a sophomore transfer to Stanford this yr. My intended major is "Industrial Engineering", though I don't think I need to specifty that in my application. My scores for the SAT II's are as follows:

SAT II Math : 790, SAT II Physics: 750

Also, my current GPA is ~3.7.

Should I bother retaking the two tests (especially physics) to boost up my chances? Or should I direct my energy to improving other things such as my GPA?

I think those are fine. What about your SATs?

lol......760M, 570V
you now see y I didn't ask whether i should retake SATI or not

no correlation w/ V and M. Scores like that seems pretty awkward!

What school are you at for a Stanford transfer? The 570 verbal is eek!

Yeah I'd retake. That 570 verbal would probably limit your chances at a good state school, much less Stanford.

yup i'd retake it

I know that retaking SATI is a must, I'm just wondering whether I need to do something with my physics score. Dearsiryes, my school is the University of Toronto.

i don't think you should retake the physics test.

I wouldn't retake the physics test, its a very respectable score (coming from a guy with an 800). As you said, you should concentrate on getting a higher GPA..a 3.7 isn't too amazing either, unless you have a bunch of other wow factors. Also, maybe you should try studying immensly for verbal part? If you really put your mind to it, I have a feeling your score could go up 100 points or more considering you've probably taken the exam got easier without the analogies (imo), you've taken it 2-3 years ago, and you'd concentrate on improving your scores solely for that rather than the SAT IIs. Good luck.
